Robbie resides in Akron, Ohio, home of many world renown musicians. North East Ohio is also home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Akron area is a musically diverse area allowing for true musical individuality.
Performing since age 15
Starting out, the blues was Robbie's prominent influence. Robbie attended shows such as Buddy Guy, BB King, Eric Clapton, and Eric Johnson, to gain insight to tone taking pages from their chops to make them his own. Robbie played local gigs, and realized the only way for him to evolve as a musician was to hit the road and pay his dues. Over the next 15 years, Rob logged hundreds of gigs — with the occasional festival appearance — in cities across Ohio. His time on the road proved crucial in shaping His sound. Robbie has performed with national recording artists and has had some local radio air play. Taking what Robbie loves about music, and the ability to express oneself, he plays lead guitar for a local church.
Looking to the Future
Robbie is back in the studio laying down tracks for Ellie's upcoming feature LP. Robbie is returning to his blues roots to produce Ellie's vocal prowess in an attempt to take her to the next musical level.
